White suit + White Bow Tie
Is there anything cuter than a toddler in a bow tie? This past weekend I witnessed not one, but two baptisms. As a gift to the Khouri family, I was requested to capture all the smiles and tears of this joyous day. Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament provided the beautiful (albeit toasty) setting, as Reverend Paul Fisher presided over the ceremony.
Pierre and Nicholas were certainly cherished little boys! They had quite the crowd of family members and friends to support them during this important milestone of their lives. Even though they both cried during the Baptism (who likes having water dripped on their heads by a man in a robe anyways?), they had plenty of god parents, grand parents, and other relatives to comfort them afterwards.
The lighting at this venue was a little challenging. The Reverend reminded me that the church was "climate controlled", as in the outside climate controlled the indoor temperature. For this reason I surmised that the lights in the church were turned down to minimize any excess heat could be emitting from them. Through sweat and tears we were able to capture some beautiful portraits at the front of the church.

The celebration continued at the reception which was held at the Hilton in downtown Harrisburg. The family spared no expense on the celebration. With delicious food, gorgeous dessert table, beautiful cake, and lively music, this family knows how to throw a party! The dance floor was constantly filled and the ballroom echoed with vibrant ululations. I want to invite this family to all my parties! I had a wonderful day spending time with this fun-loving family.
