A "Very Hungry Caterpillar" Birthday
Turning one has to be one of the most stressful times in a child's life. Good heavens you have all these people singing at you, staring at you as you play with wrapping paper, and cheering you on to eat a massive piece of cake. So. Much. Pressure! Parents are also stressed out because they want to make the best possible memories for their child, as well as family and friends. The best part of photographing these events is I get to help relieve some of that stress on the day. Instead of worrying about capturing the important moments, parents and family can actually just be in them!
I had the honor of photographing Ian's one year old birthday party this past weekend. What an adorable kid! His parents, Jen and Andrew, went with the cutest theme - The Very Hungry Caterpillar. From the cupcakes to the decorations to the games, it was all about the caterpillar and it was fantastic!! Kudos to Jen for putting it all together! Happy Birthday, Ian!
